Terms of Service

These terms are the deal between you and Peanut Gallery ("we", "us") when you use peanutgallery.tv. By signing in or using the site, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy. Questions go to dan@peanutgallery.tv.

What Peanut Gallery is

Peanut Gallery gives your stream a live audience of AI characters. They watch what you share and chat, joke and react to it, and on Premium they talk out loud. It's entertainment. The peanuts are made up, they're often wrong on purpose, and nothing they say is advice or a statement by us.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Peanut Gallery. To buy Premium you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for your account and for what happens on it, so don't share it.

Plans and limits

• Free costs nothing and needs no card. It includes the chat and the show, without character voices, for up to 2 hours a day.
• Premium is $25 a month and includes voiced shows for up to 3 hours a day.
• Daily limits reset at midnight in your time zone. AI and voice cost us real money every minute, so we may also stop a show early if it runs far past normal use, if no one is watching, or if the site is at capacity. If we ever change the plans or the limits, we'll say so on the site, and paid changes take effect at your next billing period.

Free trial, billing and cancelling

• Your first Premium subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You enter a card at the start. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you're charged $25 and then every month after that until you cancel.
• Payments are handled by our secure payment processor. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may apply where you live.
• Cancel any time from your dashboard (Manage subscription). You keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• We don't give refunds for partial months. But if something went wrong, like a charge you didn't expect or a show that didn't work, email dan@peanutgallery.tv and we'll make it right.
• If a payment fails, we'll try again for a short while. If it keeps failing, your account goes back to Free.

Echo: your own voice

Echo lets you make a voice from a recording of yourself, so the show can talk as you. You may only make an Echo voice of yourself. You must be 18 or older to use Echo. Don't use it to pretend to be someone else, to mislead people, or for anything illegal. We can delete an Echo voice that breaks these rules. You can delete your own at any time.

Your content

What you stream, upload and save stays yours. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run your show, for example sending a picture of your screen to an AI model so the peanuts can react. You're responsible for having the right to share what you show, and for following the rules of any platform you stream to.

Don't do these things

• Show or upload anything illegal, any sexual content involving minors, or anything that shares someone's private information without their consent.
• Use Peanut Gallery to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone.
• Try to break, overload, or get around the limits or security of the service, or resell access to it.
• Use automated tools to scrape the site or run shows nobody is watching.

If you do, we may stop your shows or close your account. If we close a paid account for breaking these rules, we don't owe you a refund.

Our stuff

The peanut characters, their art and voices, the Peanut Gallery name and logo, and the site itself belong to us. You can show them on your stream and in clips of it. Don't copy them or use them for anything else without asking us first.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the show running, but Peanut Gallery is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every line will be funny. AI can say unexpected things. If you're live, you're in charge of your stream, so keep an eye on it.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or unexpected losses from using Peanut Gallery, like lost viewers, income or data. Our total responsibility to you for anything is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or $25 if you're on Free. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Ending things

You can stop using Peanut Gallery and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give paying members notice and stop billing them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if the change is a big one we'll tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Peanut Gallery after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.
